This page explains how PoonthaiDigital Tools handles calculator activity, campaign attribution, starter-download email addresses and optional marketing consent.
Free web tools
The calculators and checklist builders can be used without creating an account or entering an email address. Values entered into calculator fields are used to produce the on-page result and are not intentionally included in our analytics events.
Campaign attribution
When you arrive through a campaign link, the website may read campaign parameters such as source, medium, campaign and content. During the current browser session, the site may store the first campaign attribution in session storage so later tool-use, starter-request and Etsy-link events can remain associated with the original visit even after you move between pages. This session information is designed not to include calculator input values.
Free starter downloads
If you choose to request a reusable starter file, we collect the email address you submit, the starter requested, the source page, basic campaign parameters when present, the time of the request and whether you separately opted in to marketing. We use this information to provide the requested file, operate the download funnel, prevent abuse and understand which resources are useful.
To reduce automated abuse, the server may derive a rotating one-way hash from the request IP address and use it with recent starter-request events for rate limiting. PoonthaiDigital does not intentionally store the raw request IP address in its lead records. Hosting providers may process technical request data under their own service terms.
The starter download link is signed and time-limited. Requesting a starter does not require agreeing to marketing.
Optional marketing
Marketing consent is optional and is separate from requesting a free starter. If you check the marketing box, PoonthaiDigital may send practical small-business tips and occasional information about related templates. You can unsubscribe at any time from an email or through our unsubscribe page.
Email, hosting and data processors
We use Resend to deliver email and manage email suppression, Neon to store lead and consent records, and Vercel to host the website and server functions. These providers may process the technical data necessary to provide their services under their own terms and privacy practices.
Analytics and advertising measurement
We use Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits and limited application events such as which free tool was used, when a starter was requested and when a visitor clicks a PoonthaiDigital Etsy link. We also use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API from Meta Platforms for site-wide PageView measurement and limited funnel events such as ToolUsed, Lead, StarterDownload, MarketingOptIn and EtsyClick so we can understand traffic from Facebook and related campaigns. Browser and server copies of the same Meta event use a shared event ID so Meta can deduplicate them. Server-side measurement may include technical request data such as IP address, user agent and Meta first-party cookie identifiers (_fbp/_fbc) when available, together with page path and campaign attribution. This implementation is designed not to send submitted email addresses or calculator input values to Meta.

Unsubscribe requests
When you unsubscribe, we may keep the email address on a suppression record so we can honor the request. A later starter file you explicitly request may still generate the one transactional delivery needed to provide that file, but optional marketing remains subject to your consent and suppression preference.
